The Contengo backpack is very roomy, when you wear it on your shoulders you can use the side pocket without taking it off your shoulders. The zips on the back make it very secure. You can also wear it as a bag by sliding the handle. The diagonal opening and the bottom allow wide visibility of the entire interior of the bag.
